since my daughter is Autistic, and we have no family here, we don't do barbeques or really celebrate any holidays :) It'd be nice to be adopted, so based on your suggestions below, I'll see about US adopting a soldier and/or volunteering! Thank you for the links :) How DO you find these things??

As for the links, well I came across Soldiers Angels after I participated in a couple of crochet/scarves for Vets programs.
