...and I'm knocking things off my to-do list as we type and read.

Top of today's list was early morning coffee while watching the chippies and chubbies (otherwise known as squirrels and finches) on the back deck. With the lovely, moderate temps and newly melted away snow we were almost convinced it was a spring day. Yes, we went running around outside without coats just because we could.

Next up was a worshipful pause in admiration for the way C-A-T-S have managed to domesticate H-U-M-A-N-S. Just think about it. (Note: typed out as the fat boy is on my lap and he's a smart fellow).

Getting ready to start the rounds of blog and website updates. Get ready for a bit of dust. Hopefully nothing too inconvenient.

I want to get two novels submitted somewhere by the end of the year (one needs editing, one needs me to write the other half of the first draft, but I'm hopeful).

Belly tickles are all very well if cats don't decide to retaliate with all their sharp bits at once.

Humph, that's quite unfair. Everything here melted away under the warm temps and rain we had. I guess that's the difference betwee 8" and 18" (she says with a wink).

It's tried to coat the ground again on and off today, but nothing's sticking.

I think I may make To Do lists a major feature of my New Year's Resolutions - though I'm going to restrict them to 3 items a day, in the hope that concentrates my mind on what's *really* important.

Heh, the day you have a kitty icon... well, that'll be the day.

Lord, yes. I'm a terror with my lists. It's just so satisfying to my inner control freak to cross things off when complete.

My mistake is I always list *everything* I'd like to get done, and the list is huge vs. the more reasonable, putting down the 3 most important and feel accomplished when done.
